I still have a 75 gallon drilled AGA tank that is set up for a closed loop system (drilled with overflow). It has a sturdy stand that is not finished. I'd like to get $150 for the tank (with or without stand) The tank is only 2 months old. Comes with 99.5% of the plumbing parts needed (not including pumps)

I also have a 2 month old Mak-4 pump that could be used for the closed loop. (Pumps 1190 gallons at 4 feet of head) I'd like to get $90 for it.

Euroreef ES5-3 Skimmer (2 months use): $140

Rio 3100: $35

This is the best I could do--it is surrounded by crap in my garage at the moment. The tank is in excellent condition--no scratches or dings, etc -- just kind of dirty right now. The stand is sturdy and well-built. It just needs a "skin" put on it. I have some "finished" plywood (in pic behind stand) to use for the skin if you would want to go that route.

Thanks for the photo. I'm not crafty enough with tools to finish a stand so I think I'm out. Thanks, though!

OK--all for $350. Or...

Tank and Stand $125
Euroreef $135
Mak-4 $80
Rio 3100 $30

Remember, the tank and stand, Euroreef, and Mak-4 have only 2 months of use on them--bought in April. The Rio was bought in February and used for 4 months. C'mon, my wife wants this stuff out of the garage!

Anyone?

how many places is the tank drilled and how big are the holes?
looks like just the one hole in the pic.

Does the skimmer come with the pump it needs?

may be interested but Not sure, what are the dimensions of the tank on the stand? I live in a SMALL house and space is at a premium

2 holes, at the top -- one in each corner. The one on the left has a black overflow surrounding it, the other goes to the pump for the closed loop. The holes are
1 1/2 inches. The skimmer has the standard Sedra pump.

The tank is standard 75 (48 x 18 x 21) The stand is 48 x 18 and 36 inches tall.

I forgot to mention--I can also throw in a 21 1/2 x 12 x 14 home-made acrylic tank to be used as a sump. Unfortunately, it apparently has a pin-hole leak somewhere. Fortunately, that should be easy to find and fix (I just haven't messed with it).

Everything but skimmer is still available.

Tank (drilled for closed loop--includes bulkheads and almost all plumbing supplies needed) with sturdy stand that needs finished:

$120

Mak - 4 (only used for 2 months) -- this will move the water for your closed loop $80

Rio 3100 - $30 --this could be your return pump

$225 takes all 3 -- (i can throw in a home made acrylic sump that needs a small patch for a pinhole leak--easy fix--for free) Then all you need is a skimmer, heater, and lights, and you will have a nice setup.

Remember the Mak-4 and the tank were only used for 2 months. And with a closed-loop, no powerheads needed--the plumbing runs back to the top of the tank to move the water and you can't see them in the display.
