Still having difficulty with Simu-L light bars

OK, I tried the support forum but not getting quick enough responses. I have 2 Simu-L light bars. I had originally plugged them each into their own L port. 1 in L1,2 and the other in L3,4 but was told this was the cause of my issue. I'm told I need to use a Y2-1 connector (think I got the connector name right).

So, finally got one and plugged everything up. Splitter into L1,2 and each light bar into the splitter. I tried testing the lights using the illumination menu off the profilux and set channel 1 and 2 to 100%. Same problem. 1 bar lights red/blue/white. The second bar only lights red.

What have I done wrong?

If you have YL2-1 connected to L1L2 and the two light bars connected to this splitter they both will react to the same settings UNLESS you or someone has switched the channel programming of the red light bar

Simple test, plug the one that is coming on as red directly into L1L2 what colour do you get?

If RED and the other when plugged in is blue you need to swap the channels.

Go to 1-10V interface and click on program LED and then click swap channels, and save

Now try.

If no go then, you have got a sunrise stick and not a Simu-L

For any further support email me at sales@aqua-digital.com only, thanks

I have tried plugging the red one directly in L1L2 and it lights blue and red if I set both channels to 100%. It stays red when I plug into the splitter. Is this still something to do with the 1-10V interface?

Ok let me know.

The only reason for email is because we want to keep support centralised, this way the global user base has one point to refer to not go sifting through various forums, with email i can then update the global forum with answers to important and useful questions.

Hope that makes sense ;)
