STL tattoo artists?

Question for the group: I am looking for recommendations for a tattoo shop or artist in STL. I am looking to do a tattoo of my peacock mantis on my upper forearm something along the lines of:

So its a fairly realistic and technical piece. Ultimately I want to tie in some of my other livestock into a reef style sleeve. I'm not too worried about mileage so if you know of a good artist in columbia, KC or whatever that I can look into as well I'd also like to hear. I tried to line a piece up with black13 in nashville but I dont think calanders will match up.

Ok. What part of StL are you looking at? I work at inkwell tattoos in fairview heights. Not saying we are the only shop I'd recommend but obviously I'd push us.

I'm from down near rolla, so driving isnt an issue. Quality is the concern not the distance.

I don't know anything about the big easy. Never heard of them. You can see our work at Facebook.com/inkwelltattoos or www.inkwelltattoos.com. Other places that I would personally get tattooed at are TRX on grand. All star tattoo on olive. Trader Bobs on gravois. Iron age on delmar.

Iron age, my wife and I both got portrait style tattoos by Mo. I would highly recommend their work.

Trader bobs is where I got all of mine done. Minus the Dino and the mustache. Cheap trx is good from what I've seen as well

Been wanting to get some work done for a long time... may have to stop by there.

Aaron is a great artist at diablo ink,but you my have to book in a month in advance
I have gotten tattoos there as well A++ for custom work
Iron age is overpriced and trader bobs is a great place for traditional tattoo work
research around look at profiles and talk to artist..and go to a good clean quality shop.
or wait untill fall and go to the stl tattoo convention some of the best artist around tattoo at these conventions....good luck
