Roger,

I can't find any online vendors that have the magnet holders or Stream 6000's in stock. Any idea on how long of a wait or do you know someone that still has some in stock.

Thanks,
-Mike

Things are pretty bad right now, like giving me an ulcer bad. I expect in March things will return to normal. We actually have received more product so far this year than last year, and the problem is worse this year largely because demand has increased, but this time last year wasn't a picnic either. Unfortunately, January/February and August/September are bad because they take large portions of those months off, in this case the factory was closed from Christmas eve to the 3rd of January and it takes a couple weeks to get all the parts made so assembly can begin anew. This is complicated further by the need to finish several new products in time for Interzoo 2006, this has taken our best people out of supervising production and into frantically working on models and drawings and testing of samples. Shipments just started arriving last week, we are almost 200 6000 Streams behind and it will take a few weeks to just catch up if they continue shipping them at the present rate. I am sorry but I don't have a better answer, it will probably take 4 weeks and possibly as long as 6 to fill a new order, in March I expect we will be back to our more usual 1-2 weeks behind with brief periods of being caught up. The factory has been informed that the situation here is critical and we are far more behind than in Europe so I expect they will do everything they can.

Yeah, I ordered my 6000 w/multi and magnets from marinedepot. They did not state they were out of stock until I placed the order. Now who knows how long it will take.

Great products, poor production line.

Wow! AFTER buying 2 brand new 6100 Tunze streams with multicontroller on eBay about a month ago, I am learning about how hard they are to get ... while I was looking for magnets recently. I guess I was very lucky. Actually I feel extremely lucky. Only one person bid on the item that was up for aution for a good number of days. With a few seconds left on the auction I put in my bids and got it. Since there were only two of us bidding on it I didn't think they were so hard to locate. I saved around $200 too, compared to other online places.

I ordered two kits from Marine Depot (2x6000+7095 and 2x6100+7095), along with 4 rocks and holder extensions (I will not be able to use magents unless I install them on the back walls of the tank, so I am waiting to see). I received the holder extensions, but still no kits or rocks. I did not get any indication that the not received parts were back ordered or how long I will have to wait. Luckily, I ordered them well in advance of my need for them.

The rocks replace all other holders and cannot be used with other holders- you do not need the extensions or magnet holders. I suspect you will get everything except the 6000's very soon.
