Quick note - I've never been to their other locations so can't really compare with those...
Stopped by their new store off of Sepulveda the other day. Unlike your typical LFS, it's nicely laid out, well-labelled and spacious. Of course, their systems aren't fully mature yet so stocking is sparse. Nice coral display tanks in the center of the store sorted by origin/price, although the shorter, shallower tanks towards the front are a kiddie liability. They also have a nice display featuring 6 nanocubes as well as separate vats for various types of live rock. A shark lagoon is in the works in the back.
I still have to question their choice of location (it would be easy to drive by without even seeing the store), but understand the limitations in finding usable space for reasonable $ these days.
In short, it should easily become the top LFS (with the exception of Jeff's) in the South Bay.
