I have a 350g reef tank. Has been set up for three months. I have noticed some very small white tubes that I thought were tube worms but out the top of each are two hair like antenna that retract when disturbed. Anyone know what these are and are they ok to have in tank? Also have about fifteen microscopic annemonies on the glass. I have to magnify X 10 to tell what theyn are. I think they are tiny aptapsia annemonies. Is there a safe way to remove these with a suction cup?:fish1:

Sound like a SPIONID WORMS

These worms also live in tubes, but rather than filter feeding like the dusters, they will grab larger food with their palps (the antenna-looking things). They are good scavengers.

Here's a good article that includes spionids.

Thanks a lot. I'll let them live. Anyone know if there is a safe way to remove the very tiny aptapsia annemonies in my tank. Have to magnify 10X to see them. Have about 15.
