Insane in the Brain
I've had a green star poly for about two months in my tank. From what I can tell it has been doing quite well. Color is good and it opens and closes its polyps with the light cycle of the tank. It is currently in the bottom of my tank attached to a piece of base rock.
Tonight it did something that I have not seen before. Normally the polyps are extended while the acintics are on and retract when they go off. Tonight the polyps contracted about 20 minutes before the full spectrum lights shut down. There were a few that were still out, but they were not fully extended.
Is this normal behavior for this type of coral?
Thank you in advance
