stray voltage??

why am i getting stray voltage from my MH's?The ballast is in the closet behind the tank and the fixture is hung from the ceilling above the tank and "8" above the wate line.
Also the MH's are plugged into the EXT.socket on my RK controller.

ALSO>Im running DE bulb so theres glass covering the bulb.

I'd unplug the MH's but leave the RK on to make sure it's not the RK or something else creating the stray.

If the stay stops then plug in the MH's to a remote plug (not associated with the RK) to confirm the stray is from the MH's. If it is, start looking for salt creep, even a salt film on wood or a wall will do it.

I dont think it the RK because i turn the MH off with the RK and it stops,dunno.
