Does anyone have any experience with this fish?

I knew nothing about it until seeing it in a book. Seems to be very common in coastal areas in Hawaii and Australia. The book listed it as very hearty and peaceful. Will shoal, but probably need a large tank as it can reach 6".

they are actually rather rare in Hawaii now, atleast on Oahu. They do great. And are a cool looking fish. If you can find one, i would highly suggest buying it if you have the room or tank available!

Stripeys aren't rare, but they live in weird brackish habitats that nobody likes to dive in. From what I've seen they're really easy to take care of.

Their size range is similar to most tangs and butterflies. They might reach 6" eventually, but will probably take many years to get that large; most are smaller.
