Strong backs needed

My tank is supposed to be delivered to Bridgeton (I think) this Sunday, March 16th, and I'm looking for a few strong backs to help me get it into the basement. Since I conveniently fractured my wrist, I doubt I'll be able to do it myself.

I don't know the time, but I'd appreciate it if any of you would be able to meet me in O'Fallon, Illinois to help get the tank moved. I'm even going to stop by the hardware store and buy some of those glass suction cups to help out.

It's 60 x 36 x 25 and weighs about 10,000 lbs (?).

I'd be happy to provide beer and pizza to anyone who can help.

Oh, and as entertainment, you can watch my wife hit me with a frying pan since she doesn't know I ordered the tank or that it will be here this weekend.

Thanks,

-Mike

Sounds like a fun time but I have to work :( I am sure you will get several volunteer beer and pizza drinkers though:D As for the wife, plead the 5th ;)

I would love to come, just to watch the entertainment, But I am having my back surgery on Wednesday.

Can somebody please take pictures.

Yea, go ahead and get some of the tank too.

I might be able to help. Do have an approximate time? And by the way, I'm off and will not be taking any domestic battery reports. If I walk in and you are lying on the floor bleeding from the head we will just step right over you.

Classic

It looks like I'll be picking the tank up around noon somewhere in St. Louis so I'm thinking about 2PM at my house.

I didn't plan on having anyone to help pick it up since glasscages told me they have guys to load it in the truck. Is that not the case?

Is there going to be a raffle or any door prizes? Just wondering...hehehe

I heard there was going to be a raffle, but I think the prizes consist of dirty laundry and dishes.
Go for it Jamie.

It took four of us to get Stupids in his tank. and there was only 2 of them there. I would ask. Are you getting the same tank as Stupid?

My buddy is having a surprise 40th bday for his wife that day but it's a 1 or 2:00 event and I'll probaby try to skip out in an hour or so. PM me a number if it looks like help might be needed about that time. I'll already be out at Jungemann and 94.

Yes, it is the same size except for two corner overflows and three sides low-iron glass.

Unfortunately, I'm in O'Fallon, ILLINOIS - it little bit far from where you will be.
