My beloved forums were down yesterday! Glad to see everything is back up smooth. Space Shuttle Endeavor blasted off in the meantime to everyone's delight! This is basically the view of NASA from my highschool. I was a little farther down the road because the school itself was a zoo.

Thats a pretty neat pic. I didn't realize they created such a large amount of smoke on takeoff.

it is great to watch. i live about an hour south of the space station and although my view as good as Tsurfers, i love to watch!

A very cool experience... I got to watch when I was little kid. I will not even say what rocket/capsule was involved.

i was not aware the we had established residential housing in orbit I would imagine that the view is awesome from 1 hour south of the space station...

Way cool. Neat photo. Good job training the gull to fly by at the right time. It looks a little pixelated around the bird. You didn't layer that in did you?

I stand corrected. ! live about an hour south of Kennedy Space CENTER

No the bird is there. I did crop in but not by too much, maybe 50%?
