Stuck on fish choices.

I want to add a new fish, but my current fish leave me few choices. I have a 125 reef with zoas, polyps, leathers, shrooms, hammer, torches, and rics. The fish are a 9" porc puffer, 3" picasso trigger, 5" sailfin tang, 4" purple tang, 5" foxface, and a 4" coris wrasse.

I want something like a hawkfish, but afraid the puffer will eat it. I also like butterfly fish but don't know enough about them to risk my corals. Something that swims low, or through the rockwork would be good.

Thanks!

Your bio-load is quite high. I wouldn't add anymore fish to your system, the trigger and sailfin tang already get too big. IMO a 125 gallon tank shouldn't have more than one or two larger sized fish like tangs, rabbitfish, etc.

add a goby. I personally love the little guys. they have a mean mug face all the time. and they clean your sand. can make the tank a little cloudy with sand particles though. but i love my big tiger goby.

Agreed. Time for another tank. :spin1:

The sailfin, and wrasse are the only ones that will outgrow the tank, and I'm not to fond of the wrasse as is. The trigger is a known slow grower, and will be fine for another five years.

I don't know if you guys have your tanks stacked with rock, but I have plenty of room for another fish.
