Hi guys,

It is time to clean out the garage and I have a few things for sale.

400W CoralVue e-ballast. This ballast is basically new because they just swapped it for me. $90

400W Radium Bulb. I've had it for about a year, but I have never fired it. $40

110 gallon acrylic tank, stand and canopy. It was a normal tank that I converted to a reef tank. $200.

40G custom sump built by Andrew formerly of aquatic creations online $60

I'll post pictures of all of this stuff tonight for everyone to look at.

The tank is 60" x 18" x 24" and the canopy was designed to hold two lumenarc reflectors so it will hold any kind of lights you'd like.

Here are the pictures:

If you buy the bulb and the ballast, I'll throw in the mogul socket. I don't have a reflector tho.

Here is a picture of the sump. It is 36 x 16 x 16. It was designed to go under the stand with the tank.

And finally here is the tank, with stand and canopy

As you can see I have not cleaned them yet. Also, since the sump was designed for the tank it would probably be better if they stayed together. If someone wants them as a unit I'll offer a combined price of $250.

I have a question, Im barely looking into MH lighting....can I run 2 175 lights off that 400w ballast, or is that to only to run one bulb at 400w??

Nope, you can only run a single 400w, can't mix bulbs like that.

is the tank drilled? if so where any overflow? how tall is the canopy? and how much interior space in the stand for a sump?

the tank has two options for overflow, fast and slow, the fast overflow box sits in the middle of the tank and will handle 3000 gph easy. there are three holes in the back middle (two 1 inch and a 2 inch) and they are currently plugged with bulkhead fittings. I later installed a removable overflow in the upper left side of the tank. this overflow will probably handle 900 gph or so. I have both overflow boxes and the tank can be fitted with either.

the tank also has holes for a closed loop but those holes are plugged as well since I switched to using tunze pumps.

so the overflows are hang ons there not the plastic ones set into the tank? and are the holes unpluggable?

no problem. the overflows boxes are in the tank and all of the holes are easily plug/unplugable. all you have to do is replace the bulkhead and you have holes.
