Stupid RO question

Hello all.. I was just wondering about my ro waste water... I thought I had read that it was Clean, Dechlorinated or Dechloriminated water with just slightly higher TDS than my actual feed water.. Is this true.. I checked my waste water and it read about 210ppm the feed water came out 200ppm and my makeup water came out at 0...

I was thinking about saving all of the waste water for my freshwater planted tanks and fish tanks.. I figured I could save some money on the water plus I wouldn't have to use any water conditioner? Is this assumption correct?

Any and all info would be much appreciated..

Your totally correct. Several of my friends use it for their ponds or FW tanks. It passes the carbon and the micron filter. It's just rejected at the membrane.

Thanks Gresham.. I just hate wasting all of that water.. I do about 200 gallons of freshwater water and only 20 gallons of saltwater water changes a week.. This might work out almost perfect...
