Success rate with DD "bonded" pairs

I'm interested in peoples success rate with Diver's Den "bonded" pairs? Specifically i'm interested in Bangaii Cardinals.

I received a pair of Bangaiis 11 days ago. One of them was two to three times larger then the other. They made it through tank transfer with no issues, in fact they would hang out together at times. Now that they are in my 30 gallon QT they no longer hang out together and i'm noticing some aggression. At times the larger fish will chase the smaller fish and at other times it will ignore the little fish. I pretty sure the little fish is male by using the vent method to sex it, but I have been unsuccessful at determining the sex of the larger fish. The little fish has not yet gone into hiding and has no damage, but I'm beginning to wonder if I payed a premium for the right to rehome a fish?

I would caution you in that just because they are bonded doesn't mean they will stay bonded and that a mated pair is a higher success rate of staying friendly toward one another. After shipping the bonded pair they may not be " bonded" anymore and depending on the tank mates too. In fact you may have paid a premium rate to rehome the cardinals

The "pairs", generally means the fishes in question were collected in very close proximity and are getting along...this is what Kevin Kohen (the director at DD) has told me when I asked.

The trouble I have is some of the "bonded pairs" are juvenile specimens that aren't even sexually mature yet, so how can they be a "bonded" pair? Juvie fishes tend to get along for the most part, and it has nothing to do with being a "pair", just young.

I purchased a bonded pair of Helfrichi's Firefish from them about 6 months ago, and they are still acting like a bonded pair in my 120.
