Suggestion for yellow fish

I want to add 1 last fish to my tank. I don't have much yellow in my tank so that is what I would like to have if I can find a suitable fish. I need one that is peaceful and reef safe. Any suggestions?

Current occupants:

lawnmower blenny
Potter's Angel
Yellow tailed damsel
Clarki
Hoevan's wrasse
orange firefish
chalk basslet

zoas, mushrooms, frogspawn, leathers.

I've been looking at the yellow clown gobies and midas blennies at my LFS, but neither really strike me.

Funny, right when I posted this someone else posted a question about a canary blenny. Might be a possibility.

I love the yellow coris wrasse. great reef safe fish and really intense yellow

I second the yellow coris wrasse. Peaceful, bright yellow and a very active fish...they're a jumper though

I had considered the yellow tang idea but my tank is probably too big for one...it might feel insecure in all the open space :eek1:

I would advise against yellow fish of any kind.


I have never had a good one and I made it a rule in my tank.

How about a Yellow Candy Hogfish. (Bodianus bimaculatus)

Mine is very active, and they stay relatively small.

Sorry I have a hard time figuring out people are joking on here unless they say they are joking or they put J/k..my bad..its good to know what size tank you are talking about anyways. That way we don't recommend a fish that is too big for the tank.

I also think this damsel will be able to stand up to the other tank mates.. but.. will it get along with your yellow tailed damsel? Wrasse will fight too from what I've read. no personal experience though.
