Hello - I need to cut into my exisiting plumbing, but I dont want to cause too much stress on the piping that I am keeping as is. This is all rigid PVC as opposed to flex.

Any suggestions?

I normally use a tubing cutter like you would use to cut copper pipe. It makes a nice clean cut and you don't have all of the shavings left over.

what are u cutting in a tee or 3way?
Exactly - Im cutting in a "T"

ummm.. I am confused.. whenever I need to cut my PVC to add a T I tell my wife it is such a big job I might as well get a couple of extra little things and add in a new Valve, Union, skimmer, sump, Phosban Reactor.... and while I am at it I should look at a bigger tank.

This is how I ended up going from a 75G to a 220G!

lol
