Post them if you got them....let's see how the SLASH MEMBERS keep their tanks during the summer!!

I know some folks get busy with other things during the summer and that is understandable, but I know this group of folks is obsessed with their tanks....even Greg's 10g macro tank is looking good:lol:

Tank maintained with Blopedia biosnacks, Smelter and Scrociupa methods, along with amino acids every third day except for months with 28 days:

Jack, your tank looks awesome dude!! I know where I need to order frags from now instead of the online places:D

It is getting there...slowly. It needs a couple of years growth though. :D

I regret not getting a 180 now, I am so out of room in the tank for new stuff. I think I am going to liquidate some LPS and softies.

120's and 180's are really perfect footprints...125's just lack the depth, but yours is a beauty. You have a lot of different corals with lots of color and good growth going on. Most people can't get to the two year mark with stonies because of catastrophe, you are doing something right!

It is the secret sauce. :D

I think I finally figured a lot of this out. I quit running low nutrients, quit worrying about temp. I feed heavily, skim heavily, cut back on water changes. I have some hair algae in a few places and I only try and remove it when it gets long enough to pull off. I use my own food which is a varient of Borneman's recipe, I don't dose phyto or anything other than food and Nori. Once I quit worrying about nitrates, phosphates and keeping a sterile tank. I dose a tsp. of sugar a week and keep the calcium reactor cranking and the ozone running. I have been doing that for the past 6 months so who knows if it will work long term.

Jack-Just dropped in for a visit. Wow your tank looks great. Keep up the pictures, you are born with it man, your planted tank was just as good.

Check this out...these came from your tank when you shut it down. :D
