Hey guys,
So Im stuck on sumps ideas and I need your guy's help. I have a 20 gallon long sump and a 55 gallon DT. My goal is to have a reef tank but I'm going to take it step by step. Witj rock first to start the nitrogen cyle, then add sand, re-test water to make sure its safe to add fish and then of course corals. I do have a basic 10 gallon I'm going to be running for a QT.
Im going to be running a SCA 302 skimmer rated for 180 gallon. I want the refugium to be as big as I can have it for cheato and sand and copepods.
Return pump is going to be RIO 2500 rated at 725 GPH w ith head loss shoupd put me at 525.
My overflow is going to be overflow box from 700GPH.
Also need some help with what plumbing size I should go with.
