Ok first off thanks everyone for the input :) I was so confused on plumbing and every ones opinion I stayed with 3/4 and one inch drains :( I needed to get this done as quick as possible as I let my tank go/ lost interest for a while. So needed the fish out stat due to water quality.
Anyhow I don't have any snails other than stomatala's and I have guard around my overflows.
As far as looks......hahaha wow, I think my plumbing job could be the worst on reef central lol my one drain had to wrap around at such an odd angle ughhh but its leak tested and ( no leaks) 150 gallons of salt is in so far, have to add more later. New live fiji pink sand will go in once tank gets to 79' . Fish are in the 55 long ( stressed) I assume but doing good.
How long before I can put the fish back? A week maybe? Or longer? I know I have to have some die off from the inner side of my overflows, bristle worms, brittle stars ect.. should I see a spike?

Anyhow during this process I spilled 50 gallons salt water on my carpet, broke my mag inlet, cracked cover :( broke baffle in sump ( still no fix) call is holding it but its about to blow lol ughhhhh and why did I want to move my sump again??????:headwallblue: could be worse though I guess ill be happy my plumbing is holding lol

help plz :) trying to get tank up and running :)

Ok so I really have a set back now! I did the dumbest>understatement, thing possible and did my initial fill with (Yes) tap water :uhoh3::sad2: Trying to save time as my R/O would have taken a week and trying to keep fish in 55 to a minimum. :( anyhow now my alk is through the roof sitting at 18dkh and calcium 380. I did the BRS calculator and threw in aprox>20 fl oz of calcium recipe 1 to raise it to 420. can I raise the calcium more in hopes to lower alk? or will I see snow :( I dont have coral anymore as Im going back to fish only so nothing to suck it up. Right now tank is filled,to temp, waiting for live sand but I'm afraid to put the sand in? Ahhhh any help on what to do?

Is it real live sand? Or just dry sand? Is it store bought or from an established aquarium?

Not sure what an alk that high would do to the beneficial bacteria.

I am new to the reef keeping industry, but from what I have read, your new live sand in the bag is going to cycle just like new live rock. It is my opinion that you should take a few days before returning the fish to the new tank. FWIW

Welcome :) yes I plan on waiting to add them not long though maybe a week tops im only doing a transfer and im hoping not to get a spike I have nothing in the 180 but water and salt. Half my rock is in the 55 with the fish and the rest in a bucket.I've been throwing food in a bit at a time with the rock in the bucket.

I didn't keep any of the old sand. So basically im depending on my rock alone ( fingers crossed".

Update: 9:30am
after adding the calcium to try to combat the high all im at follows:

Calcium: 420
all: >>>> still at 18dkh
ph: 8.3

Does this sound right? What can I do to bring it down? Im heating up water for a small water change to see if that makes a diff :(
Should I add more calcium? Should I throw the live sand in? Would that help?

Ok,so after my meltdown I've decided not to fill with Tap this time and not to rush the transfer. Im not sure of my high alk was due to the tap or the GE#2 silicone. Either way I should have done it right the first time with R/O.

Here is my ??? I have a sump with NO baffles now. I have the baffles but I'm wondeing about something ,their is a video on you tube which shows EDPM weatherstripping to hold acrylic in place and it pretty much shows a water tight seal. I am a little leary about using silicone anymore and my baffles are not exactly snug so i have a little gap (this is why i used silicone.) he states its reef safe?
