"Sunburst Anenome" Clownfish compatibility

Does anyone know if Maroon clownfish would host a Sunburst anemone? I'm not sure what species this anemone is considered to be...

Yes they are no different than any other bubble tip anemone.
Look up who host bubble tip anemones

Sunburst will host a Maroon. Whether or not the anemone will be able to handle the molesting clown is another question. Bigger anemone is better. Maroons can be really rough on their host anemones.

This is my problem...the female just goes nuts on the BTA's I've brought home. End result they're all in my 30G nano. I came across this football sized "Sunburst" anenome but wasn't sure if it was a bubble tip or what? But it's quite expensive...

Then there are long tentacle anenomes in my area being sold that are a fair size and not quite as expensive. So I'm not sure which is the best option...

If you want to replicate nature then getting a bubble tip is the way to go. I might be wrong, but BTA is the only anemone that hosts Maroon clowns in the wild.

Maroons naturally host in a BTA. Took mine less then a day after being placed in the tank to find his new home. He's now very much inseparable from his anemone and defends it with vigor. The furthest I've seen him move from it is during feeding and even then it's eat, back to nem, eat, back to nem, etc.

Yes mine love the BTA... To death unfortunately. I'll have to wait for one of my rescues to grow before trying again I guess...
