Sunburst Anthias

Anyone try to keep more than one in the same tank? I've only heard of a couple people keeping 3 or 5 in larger systems. Looking to get a pair or trio. Just share your thoughts and experience with them to me

I have a school of 5 and would take it higher if I can get a couple of more females. Great fish with no aggression as I only have one male.

I had two for about a 3 months together in a 55, no problems. I know have one in my current 75. most docile fish in the tank.

I started with one and just added another about 5 days ago. The first 2 days , the new one was harassed quit a bit , now he has adjusted and stay in about 1/3 of my 180 gallon tank, while the first one roams all over the tank. It is hard to determine the sex of them and if you go forward I would definitely add them all at the same time. Great fish to have.

I'm able to get them for cheap through work so I might order a couple in the next fish order to start and QT. I just really like the way they look

I have one in qt right now and plan on adding another when I move the contents of my 34 gallon Solana into a 90 gallon rimless that I just got built. I have seen them kept in multiples with no problems.

Should these fish be the first introduced into the dt? Ive tried keeping them as singles with other anthias in the tank and they've never survived. One of my favorite fish just never been able to keep it.
