Sunburst Anthias

Hi could you tell me how many times a day you feed your sunburst anthias at the facility, and with what food?

I have had mine for 2 weeks and he has lost some weight settling in, he was very shy to eat and cannot get more than 2-3 shrimps and a bottom dweller has some disadvantage, his favorite is brine and 2nd mysis and mixed results with other foods.
the good news is that he has gotten bolder at feeding time and I hope to get him back to better health.

The Anthias are fed very, very small amounts of brine and mysis shrimp 4-7 times throughout the day in our holding facility. You may want to try spot feeding the fish using a feeding syringe or tube. This will help to ensure they are receiving the foods you are offering so other fish are not eating the food before it reaches the intended fish.
