super bleached bta

with my old light, every time I feed the nem shrimp, he eats it. now that I got a new light, the nem doesn't eat that much solid food.

is there a liquid food/diet I can use?

When do you feed it?

What are some of your parameters?

lighting type and duration
other inhabitants
temp
pH
salinity
mg
nitrates
nitrites

rock type/age

I try to feed Mysis or brine shrimp twice a week. but it would not eat them like it used to after changing the light fixture.

lighting is innovative marine skyye 18watts led 14000k over a fluval spec v 5 gallon.

temp is at 79 degrees
ph, mg, nitrates and nitrites is unknown for now
salinity is 1.024-.025

housed with 2 clowns, cuc, a mushroom, ricordea, zoa frag and a frog spawn.

rock type is a real reef rock

This is a BIGGIE. You need to know this because it does affect what the animal is doing. As for lighting, I doubt that was the issue because nems will move upwards to get more light if they want. Can you see it's foot or is just strongly attached to the rock. I'd look to water chemistry and params before anything else.

With the lights I was just wondering type to make sure it is not getting burned either.

The parameters of the water are a real key, as the anemone 'breathes' it pulls in the water. If it is off in chemicals or other irritants are pulled in, it will expel the water and start having problems.

Kinda like us going to a country where the smog is real bad, when we just came from fresh crisp air.

I would've think if my parameters are off, the rest of the inverts will suffer too. I used to have a weak marineland led. Not even the reef capable one. That's when it started to bleach.

But I will have my water tested for the rest of the parameters to be in the safe side.

As far as parameters, what will be ideal for full recovery?

Side note: Not sure if I read that correctly. 2 clown and a Nem in a 5 gallon nano/pico will be demanding.

Correct its a 5 gallon pico tank, got it for free from a lfs since it was almost dead ( guts pucking out). I moved it to my tank (fowlr) nursed it back to health but did not have sufficient lighting.

Now its on my spec v tank with the rest of my corals

an anemone with its guts puking out is a very bad thing and usually leads to death in most cases. but you say its back to health, do you ever see the mouth open up and push its insides out anymore? with anemones they can bleach rather fast, then take a long time to regain color. especially if it is/was sick, then switched tanks, switched lighting. its gunna take a while to totally rehab if it even does...

no more guts coming out. I had this anemone for almost a year now (they are actually twins, original nem split up) just never had a decent reef lighting till now. both clones are bleached
