I went to one of the local vendors, who also happens to be a R.C. sponsor today looking to score some nice acans. Although he did have out of this world acans I went home with these bad boys. I still can't believe I ended up with them. Thanks Matt at Austin Aqua Farms! Pictures were taken 15 minutes after placing them in the tank. The pictures look way too blue, the clams have blue, pink and the one on the left is a black and white one. Haven't quite figured out how to correct the W.B. near the bottom of the tank ye.

Check it out........

Okay I figured out the W.B. somewhat. Here are a few pictures more real to true color.

Wow Minh that's very nice! I know it can be done but small clams like that require a little "extra" care. Keep us posted on that one, it's a beaut!

This little guy already got new roll scales already. They need to have optimal water calcium and light, and especially not parasitic snails. sorry that I hijacked this thread.

Can I ask a question?

Can I ask a question?

Are those little guys in the pictures attached by *man* to the frag plug discs or are they simply self attached?

Don't know a lot about them yet but I just received a small Maxima and want to locate it in a good position.

It was my understanding that you can't/shouldn't glue or epoxy them to anything but let them self attach. True or not?

In the pictures of the group of small maximas, it almost looks like they were glued to the plugs.
Thanks for clarifying for me .
