suspended cable adjuster

Wondering if you might have any insight, recommendation or actual product that can be used between or on the cables to raise the fixture more easily. The stanard slip in cable stops that allow adjustment are a bit cumbersome. I'd like to be able to raise the fixture a bit more easily if possible. Was thinking about some sort of a pulley wheel between the cables?

I do think the pulley system you speak of would be a great Idea, I have seen it done before, but I have not put a pulley system together myself, You may want to look into Home Depot and see if they may have some sort of pulley system you can build yourself.
