Swallowtail angelfish

Gives Bad Advice.
Out of curiosity... If this fish was being fed only once a day, would he start eating coral?

Feeding has been once a day with frozen my sister and frozen formula 1 mixed.

They will not. My Watanabei pair like flakes better than frozen.

You turned your sister into fish food????? Yikes!!!!

iPhone ftw.

Well, it appears that I have something nipping. And my searches seem to come up that multiple feeding are necessary and that they can nip at coral. But I've never read this before today. I have whole branches disappearing from sps.

You do get the odd genicanthus that nips but I think they are few and far between and I wouldn't expect them to strip an area rather take bites out and move on. The simple answer is to try feeding more but I'd suspect it might be something else like a blenny or crab. What else do you have?

Well, I should've described it better. It's more like new growth nubs and basing that is disappearing. I figured it was my lawnmower blenny but I caught him yesterday and unless I just didn't see the damage until today, it's still happening.

Swallowtail angel
Midas blenny
Lawnmower (in fish trap)
Two clowns
Two flasher wrasse
Two cardinals
One fire fish

I do have a strawberry crab but I have t seen him in awhile, even at night.

I literally just caught this guy.

One of my concerns with it being him is that it happens during the day as well and I've never seen him out during the day.

And even then it's from one end of the tank to the next.
