ReefWorld03 - I was actually suppose to be at Rod's earlier, but my new Sequence pump was not able to move my water up from the basement to my 92 corner tank on the first floor. My friend who is helping me install my new 225 had to reduce the pipe down to 1" and try it again ... still did not work, so I had to put my other Sequence back on line for that tank. All of this delayed my departure by 1 1/2 hours ... so that is why you beat me this time!
I picked up 3 really nice Acro's ... 1 blue, 1 blue/green and 1 funky looking green thick one.

I can't help it I'm a Rod's Reef groupie. You boys are just jealous as there's a new girl in the camp ;-) I even wore my new Rod's Food T-shirt he made for me to the CMAS meeting last Saturday.
ReefWorld03 - I too can't wait to try out those new DE Lumenarc's. That was #4 sitting at Rod's. Hopefully the new 225 will be running with saltwater by the weekend. Right now it's sitting with freshwater checking for leaks ... so far, so good!

Are you going to run 400W or 250W on that DE reflector?
I want to experiment with 3 different lighting schemes,
400W SE 20K radiums on Lum3 reflectors / HQI Ballast
400W DE 20K or 14K on PFO reflector / HQI Ballast
400W DE 20K or 14K on Lum DE reflector / HQI Ballast
I have several pieces of the same coral that I will be putting in three different spots in my new 210 tank setup. It’s all a personal preference. I like the 400W SE 20K Radium’s on Lum3 look.

Maybe after I beat Tony at wrestling in Jello ... I can race him in my car too!
I am going to run 4 - 250W DE's HQI's. I will alternate 2 Reeflux 10K's and 2 Reeflux 12K's and run 6' Blue Actinic VHO's as well. I'm hoping the 4 - 250's will be adequate lighting on the new tank. I am putting in a DSB to raise the depth up to 26".

Tony shouldn't be an issue. Jello or no jello as he has a problem with keeping his shoulder in place. One good pull and he will be calling it quits and washing your car.....inside information from the “seasquirtâ€Â….
I also will be running a DSB as my tank is 29†tall. I run 3 250W DE using 10K Ushios with 220 watts of VHO actinic and just does not enough light for some corals. This is on my current 75 gallon tank. Menard runs 400W 14K DE on his tank at home and as awesome color. Sea Schor runs 400W 20K DE on his tank and has awesome color. Ming at Altantis runs 400W radiums on HQI ballast great color. Rommel at Ultimatefrags runs 400W radiums on HQI ballastas well and as great color. It’s just a person preference.
