Sara if carbon footprint concerns you, and I'm glad it does National grid offers a few different green packages. The energy costs more, but personally I feel sinces we in the hobby use so much energy and our interest in the natural environment is effected by co2 emmisions it is a good idea to change over. I just recently found this out (info about going green is possible) and when I send in my next bill I will be switching over.
