Switched socket outlet 3150.11 problem

I hooked up my new 3150 and it doesn't seem to work. It hums quite loudly, almost buzzes, but no power goes to the outlet. Is that right? I think it's hooked up right because when I push the float up, the humming stops. Do I possibly have the pieces put together wrong? It's pretty loud.

Pages 42 and 43 of the manual describe turning the potentiometer to adjust pump speed, for the switched socket this must be at the full power- 11V. By default it is at 9V and the relay does not get enough power.

Thank you and my apologies, the flow adjustment is a new feature and we will update the manuals to include this info about the interaction with the switched socket.
