Synchiropus splendidus - female vs. male

Hi all,

I have my Synchiropus splendidus now for over 2 years. They are a pair, I saw this every night beautiful pairing. But now the female has started to hunt the male. the bigger male is always swimming away from her and she is hunting him. What could that be? they were always together.

Its like that he has no more interest on her.

Look he just needs some time to himself once and awhile. He just wants to relax watch the game and drink a beer with out being harassed by his misses.
