T5 Fixture Question

I have an Ice Cap 6X80W T5 retrofit in my canopy (72" long 125 tank) that I'm having some trouble with. I think I have a short somewhere and it took out at least one of my ballasts. Instead of rebuilding this system, I was thinking about replacing it with a fixture and hanging over the system. I am looking at the TEK 8X80 and the ATI 8X80. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on how these two systems compare?

I need to make a decision on this today, as my tank currently has NO lights...any feedback?

The tek has no cooling the ATI does. The ATI reflectors and ballasts are better.
The tek comes without hanging kit and splash guard.
The ATI will be brighter and have better bulb life.

Is the 125g tank 18" front to back? If so, go with the 6 bulb Sunpower instead of 8. You only really need 8 bulbs when the tank is 24" front to back.

My tank is 27" front to back and I use a 6x36 sunpower mounted 11" above the tank.
