T5 for clams

is it ok to keep the clam on this lighting system?

i have 8 24W T5 lighting system in 29x29x20 system.
it's 20inch deep...and i will place the clam at the top (about 8 inch under)...

Bulbs conbination.

Giesemann

2 x Giesemann mid day
1 x AquaBlue+
4 x Aquablue Actinic
1x Actinic+

I kept a crocea thriving under t-5's on my 75 for years. And my clam was in the sand bed. I'd think you'd be fine.

he should be fine, just watch him closely. if he doesnt like it, youll be able to tell.

I run an 8-54 watt T5 fixture with a squamosa clam, and it seems to be doing great. I run:

4 ATI Blue Plus
2 ATI Pro Color
2 ATI Aqua blue

I have a crocea under a 6x39w Nove Extreme pro, I run, 1 GE 6500K, 2 ATI blue Plus, 2 ATI aquablue Special, 1 KZ fiji purple. I have mine about 12" from the light & it's thriving....

I have a 14 bulb T5 fixture above my 30" deep tank and have great luck with clams. I have a 14" squamosa doing great right on the sandbed.
