T5 SPS tanks

Tonight I installed my T5 retro kit and took out my halides. This is the bulb combo Im using. Big thanks to Marcye at SITC for helping me out today. Also thanks to everyone who replied and gave input on this.

The color is extremely close to what I had running 2x12k reeflux. I think I want a bluer look and will be switching out one of the aquablues for an actinic+ in the next day or so.
The main thing I have noticed with the T5s vs Halides is detail. You can pick out individual colors and details easier. Kind of hard to expalin, it just looks.... sharper. I do miss the shimmer a bit though.

Looks really great. That red planet is insane looking. You wont regret putting a more blue light in, it really makes the tank look sharper... I noticed the difference between whites and blues in T5 is the more blue you get the whiter and brighter things look. The whiter bulbs yellow stuff out a bit or sometimes even have a pink hue to them depending on what they are.
