I am looking at a 72" Aquactinics Constellation Light Fixture for our 125 gal. it has 14 39 watt bulbs in it. Will this be enough light for any sps to be in our tank and keep great color? Don't know a lot about the t5's so any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks
Dan
For about the same price as the Constellation, you can get an 8x80 watt ATI powermodule. It is a 5' fixture, you would not notice the 6" on either side, and you could keep any SPS you wanted. The 6x80 Powermodule is ~$200 cheaper also.
The ATIs are the best fixture, built well, look better, and are quieter. By using 80 watter, you would save quite a bit at bulb change time.
You could even "get by" with a 6x80 watt Sunpower, about $500 less than the 72" Constellation, and most likely has similar output.
