Just wondering if u guys are keeping your tabling acros and montis clean off from
Sand and debri on a constant level or just leave it .... I have a few pieces that are getting big enough to we're they collect sand in sertian spot I turkey bast them
Off all the time but I can't see everyone doing this all the time ... And I do have really strong flow but it still settles from my wrasses diggin etc...

I turkey baste them from time to time. Even with strong flow, the fish sometimes do a little digging and stir things up.

I give everything the once over with a turkey baster every couple of days to blow the cobwebs out of nooks and crannies :)

I blow mine off after letting it sit for a couple days... mainly just because I'm lazy. But a couple times I left it for a week or so and the tissue underneath it had died. It came right back, but I wouldn't recommend letting it sit for more than 4 days or so. It is a pain though.

i use a baster and blow the sand off ... i learned the hard way by not doing it . and a small spot of my purple monti cap turned white from not getting light on that spot

Me too totally torn.... Sand is a total pain though .... With the amount of flow I have it's in piles around the tank anyway

pic biggles?

The resort is getting ready for bed but you get the idea lol. Not only do i have a stunning beach side pool area at the front of the tank but after adjusting the return pipe i now have a small intimate hot tub area at the rear left for guests as well.........:spin1:

only the little ones are brave enough to test the water ;)

Wavebox - effectively moves massive amounts of water for the corals, but leaves the sand in place.
