tailspot blenny

I just got my new tailspot blenny (who is disgustingly cute by the way) and everything that I read before buying him said they eat herbivorous diets, like most blennies. I have put some seaweed salad in the tank, and a little formula 2, but he hasn't gone after any of it. He seems ok so far, and I did just get him yesterday after being shipped, so lack of appetite seems normal. Besides garlic, is there anything else I can do to boost his appetite and get him to start eating?

You can throw a Mobile Travel Guide into the tank so he can find the five star dining establishments. :D

Give him a little more time. As you figured, he is still in transport shock and needs time to adjust to his new surroundings.

:lmao: If you are feeding frozen mysis or brine shrimp they will eat that, too. Mine is a little pig and he darts around the aquarium as fast as he can, to get as much as he can. Mine will also sit on the rock by the seaweed clip and stare at it when it's empty!

He's a combtooth blenny, so he'll tend to scrape his food off surfaces. Try some formula one sinking pellet: mine grabs the medium-sized ones and plays catch with it around the tank.
