I just had to pick this coral up, it is most likely really bleached and showing amazing color. Not sure if it will live or ever look like this again but it is glowing in my tank for the moment. Just a regular picture from I phone.

Probably not but it looks nice anyway! Part of the fun of acros is seeing how they turn out after they get their color back. Good luck with it!

shipping stress probably.....it said it was like that when he picked it up.

Its funny that bleached acros can look so nice....... I see newbie SPS keepers going crazy over bleached corals at shipments. I think.....been there...tried that. Results are usually not good.....sometimes they can turn around but keeping the colour never happens.

the store had it under strong led, not sure how long it was there. I put it 12" under the halides. It has very little pe, but had it for a week now and it still kicking. Dvanacker you are right there was a local store 6 yrs ago that got a shippment of bleached fiji coral about once a month, I could never keep them alive. I purchased a canary yellow hyacinthus it was amazing it lasted all of 3 days before rtn. But I could not wait to get another with future hopes of success. I did finally learn that they were bleached and try not to ever buy anything like that. Obviously I did not learn well enough.
