Aaron, don't be silly! My snake is a kitten, totally "hand tame." She's the perfect ambassador for people who have phobias about snakes. Even my mom held her, once, for maybe 30 seconds. But that is huge for her, who wouldn't even dare be in the same room as a snake a year ago.

My mother in law has a major fear of snakes. Last week we went to the Erie Pa. Zoo and in one area of the Zoo they had a couple of Boas in Glass tanks and she wouldn't even walk past them...lol. She went around the other direction and left the building.

I would suggest you buy one and keep it at your house then:lol:

I would never do that...I actually like my In-laws. thats why I took them along on our mini get a way last week.

I like my in-laws, but I like your idea Scott...only so much of the inlaws you can take. ******I LOVE my inlaws, esp. if they read this post! ;)

LOL, I wouldn't mind an in-law deterrent! Pete's mother is a little bit "high strung," and I can only take her in small doses. Sweet lady, just too overbearing. ;) She calls multiple times a day, sometimes to just see how Duke (our dog) is doing. She's starting to lose it!

We got a new chaise... FINALLY got rid of that horrendous bachelor pad remnant known as the green plaid recliner. *barf* (yes, that's it in the corner of the picture... we need someone without a bum back to help Pete throw it out)

The anthias were dancing for me yesterday, so I snapped a few pictures.

Yes, the clowns seem to have semi-taken to the RBTA! I see them playing in it and diving in and out of it all day. They don't camp out in the nem like I've seen other clowns do, though. Perhaps they're just not totally sold on the idea yet. :) They even did their gyrating behavior in the nem today! :D

Maybe I should show them this video? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JJtffm36lhU&feature=related

Also, a vid I took a while ago of my Favia extended at night.

Well... It happened. The RBTA moved!

IMG_5759.jpg

I don't know how she managed to move so quickly! Last night she was great, sleeping in her cave, today she is on the other side of the tank! I turned off the Koralia above her, just in case. I hope she decides to settle in somewhere else... because she isn't exactly in a visible place. I also worry about her being behind the clam. It's open and happy right now, so I won't stress it out with moving it unless I see that the RBTA is going to stay there.

Also, I got the results of my MRI today. The dx is a Bulging Disc. I'm starting PT Monday, hopefully that will do enough. The Tramadol is working wonders for pain management. I am not allowed to lift anything heavier than 10lbs, though. :( I'm gonna have to train Pete how to do water changes.

 Here's a thumbs up for your new chair. Love your anthias, beautiful colorful fish. I have no experience with nem, but have read through other posts that just let it be unless she appears to be unhealthy.

Simply GORGEOUS! *faints*

Like I always say... Some day when I'm rich and famous, I'll have a killer tank. ;) Hopefully after I finish school I will make at least 30/hr and be able to afford something nice and not "shabby chic" or hand-me-downs for once.

Thanks for sharing those amazing pictures, Aaron. What an inspiration! I'm so glad that my RBTA pulled through and is looking fabulous again. Her sudden need to relocate sucks, though! I didn't think I would like a green BTA, but those in his tank are amazing-- especially next to the RBTA's. I'm sure his lighting has something to do with that too, though. ;)
