tamarin wrasses

hello all , i recently received a new camera (nikon D5200) and STARTED to take some high res. pics of our fish.

This has been proven to be rather difficult but will get easier as time goes on.

but idid happen to get some okay shots of our 3 tamarin wrasses, we have a red tail (ana. chrysocephalus), a yellow tail (ana. meleagrides) and a Blue spotted (ana. caeruleopunctatus)

have had the red tail for about 9 months, yellow for 5 and the blue spot (9 days from DD)

blue spot is a little out of focus- like taking a macro of a ninja driving a motorcycle.

I love these guys. I tried a red tail once but he arrived with a busted mouth and died within a couple days. It was sad because he wanted to eat but couldn't.

I will try one again but I rarely see them.

beautiful fish!...I have a large yellow tail that was a LFS rescue so I got a great price on it....it came in really thin and wouldn't eat for them...I started it with live Tiger pods and NutriMar Ova with lots of LR to pick from. It gradually starting excepting larger foods like PE Mysis etc...took a few months, but now it's nice and healthy living in the DT ....

Yeah I have got really lucky on tracking down these guys- the first (red tail/bill) came from my lfs that he had come in . The yellow tail ( Hubert comberdale) was a RANDOM act of kindness / almost dead fish - our local reefer had a terrible terrible thing happen, her tank exploded dumping all the coral water and fish into the floor ---- some how Hubert lived , when i met her he was upside down in a bag so I floated him for 15 then held him in my hand near the return till he swam out of my hand - it was a fish miracle - and the the blue spot came from DD so it was easy ( we named him Pluto bc he is our 9th fish but he is to small to be a real fish)

Great pics, great fish
Thanks!
