I'm looking for a lens in or around this size range, I don't have any hands/eyes on experience with the tamron

I'm sure I can get it for less than the asking price

anyone know this lens or have any input?

It sure beats the crap out of an 18-55, 28-135, or most other lenses!!
I have the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 and love love love it. The Canon and Tamorn are different but comparable.
