The one behind it is a Dussumieri the other one (the mata) looks almost identical to the Dussumieri except from the spine to the end of the tail.
The Matas definetly get HUGE! This one is about 18"!! Just to give you a better idea of how big it is in person...That sailfin and powder blue are about 10"-11".
That is a Mata or possibility a Blochi. Dussumieri have white scalpels and usually a bar on the tale. That is a beautiful specimen though. What is the tang in the upper left? That looks like the back end of a dussi.
No they are not in my 90. They were in a 1200 gallon tank in a corporate office. the company i work for built and maintained that tank for 7-8 years and that fish went in as a baby! The tank has recently been torn down because a new owner bought the business where the tank was setup. The fish are now back in our greenhouse in a 1500 gallon system. So, sorry to say but there will never be pics taken of that tank again.
