Tang shedding skin

My tang is shedding his skin. All water specs are in normal range and other fish are okay. He has been in tank several months and was caught locally here in south florida.

Any help is appreciated.

Wide spectrum antibiotic in a isolation tank is best. Kanamycin is widely used as a antibiotic for marine fish. Could be brook I suppose but other fish should also be showing signs.

Unfortunately, the fish just died. This is the picture, as you can see the skin seemed to be falling off. It died rather quickly, within 2 days.

I am now worried about the other fish, so far they show no symptoms. I have a yellow tang, blue damsel, blue chromis, 2 oris clowns (farm raised), 2 cleaner shrimps, 2 tube worms, several turbo snails, and live rock.

A chromis of mine did this about 2 years ago. Once I started adding vitamin c to food I haven't encountered it again. My LFS marine biologist guru expected it to be a bacterial infection attacking the skin. Not sure though. Did your tang ever "scrape" itself on the rocks?
