Tang Suggestions for 360 gallon

Tank is 96"x36"x24", with 3 MP60s and a large skimmer so swimming room & oxygenation should be adequate.

Mixed reef but primarily SPS & LPS. I currently have a Royal Gramma, Melanarus Wrasse, One Spot Foxface, 4 firefish, 6 Bartlett Anthias, Golden Head Sleeper Goby, Algae Blenny and will be adding 3 Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse and 2 Ocellaris Clowns that are in QT. I also have multiple ornamental shrimp.
Considering adding Copperband and maybe a Mandarin at some point but concerned about the Copperband with anemones, etc. and pod population.

I am interested in some recommendations for Tangs that are reasonably peaceful. I do not have an interest in any Yellow Tangs. Also, I assume I should add the Tangs last. I have a 40 gallon QT. Would it be best to QT and add all Tangs at the same time? Thanks for any suggestions.

Although they're ich magnets, I love my Powderblue tang. If I had the room, I'd love to add a Maculiceps Tang - Acanthurus maculiceps

Blonde naso, Chevron, powder blue, purple, red sea sailfin are all awsome.

Carte blanche with tangs - jealous.

If I could choose two, I'd get a Chevron and a blonde naso.

You can have any tangs you want really. They are all peaceful to most fish, they are only aggressive towards other tangs or fish with similar body shape/size and color. How ever many you decide to add, it would be best to do so all at once as long as they are small enough to not cause a large impact on bioload (which would be several really large tangs in a tank that size.)

Any reason why you don't want a yellow tang? Yes, they are everywhere, but it's tough to replicate that brilliant shock of yellow. I had one for a while, but sold him to make way for a purple tang. I miss the bright yellow.

A school of yellow tangs with a purple tang in there would be neat to see.

My favorites include regular Naso lituratus, Zebrasoma desjardinii, and Acanthurus nigrofuscus.

I feel like I have a lot of yellow with the fish I already have & as you mentioned everyone has them.

Also is it absolutely necessary to introduce the Tangs last? Or hit or miss regarding any aggression with other fish or other tangs added later?

Introduce them last for sure, especially a group of them. The vlamingi wouldn't matter but that's a very mellow tang

It is. Mine changes color depending on his "mood" but he is always a very mellow one. I have been raising him from "childhood". I have a cleaning station in that tank and he LOVES to be "cleaned".

While I know there are plenty of naso fans, IMO they are rather unattractive. Have you considered a fowleri? They are gorgeous, and gentle giants.

I want one for my 625g has anyone done a pair or do you know of anyone Steve? Peter had a good suggestion with the Fowleri and they are beautiful tangs that aren't the run of the mill

Vote for blonde naso and vlamingi too. Not only the coloration but the long stringer once they reach adulthood. They get fat loke torpedo. And like everyone says. Despite the double blade they are gentle giants. If you dont want any aggressive tang just stay away from the acanthurus family. Not sure if you dont like yellow tang for any specific reason but my all time favorite tang is the desjardini which is also in the zebrasoma family.

That would have been my recommendation. If you have the tank for them, there's simply nothing like a fowleri. So many subtle colors in one fish. Considering one for my 240. Just waiting until I have clear plans for a larger tank to accommodate their adult size...

Orange shoulder tang is one of my favorites. With that said Naso is the only tang in my tank because they are not aggressive.

I have both. They are both great. The fowleri is so tame, very peaceful. As stated above, their colors are really, really vibrant and so many on one fish. It's really cool to watch
A gem too, but they are expensive. I love mine
