Tang that wont touch nori

Ok so I have a sailfin that I put in the tank 2 days ago. He eats flake food very well, but wont touch nori. He is still mostly hiding though and maybe just not ventured out to find it ...Is this anything to be worried about......

My purple tang eats brown sheet algae but won't eat green. And it won't eat it off a click. I have to make little pieces and place them in the tank.

Try little pieces soaked in Vita Chem.

Try just dropping a piece of the nori in the tank and let it float around. It might end up grabbing out of instinct and take a liking for it, rather than having to come up to the glass to eat off of a clip. Once it starts eating you can coax it up to the clip.

I feed my tang this amazing new product called "fish food" and it has been doing very well for the past few years? It does not like the seaweed cr*% either-yet it is fat healthy and great color.
It does like oranges and broccoli-but I only do that about 3-4 times per year because it is a PITA. Good luck!

you didnt follow Boosted Rxp advise did you?...not sure but that might have killed him,........ my porcu puffer looks so sweet and cuddly, but everytime i take her out for a walk she has no appetite for weeks now and just floats on the top

My sailfin wont touch it either, He just like his flake food. and sometime some mysis shrimp.

No, he would have been fine out of the water, You just shouldn't have tried shoving it down his throat.
