I have a 60 gallon cube.Would a yellow and purple tang be all right in it for quarantine? Be adding them to a 225 when done the only tang I have in the. DT
now is a chevron. or will I have to quarantine them separate.

Yes get the two smallest you can attain, get them at the same size too. I had 2 purples in a 180g 12yrs ago and they never bothered each other. They were both purchased from LA at 2"

How far away is your big setup? They should be fine for a while if you get them small, but yellow and purple tangs will be aggressive if they are in a tank that small for too long.

My big set up is ready to go. I was just concerned if the two would fight in quarantine.

They should be fine in QT together, provide plenty of PVC for them to hide in

Best bet would be to go to a LFS and ask them to order them for you or look around the net for places that have both in stock... The purple tang will be the issue
