Tank Bred vs. Tank raised?

I just read some stuff that says that there is a difference between tank bred and tank raised clowns. whats the difference?

There is a difference between tank bred and tank raised, but I've never heard it applied to clowns.

Tank bred, is when the fish are bred in captivity and the offspring grown out. Like we do with clowns.

Tank raised, is when larval or very young fish are collect from the wild and grown out in a tank. Like they are doing with some tangs today. This works well with seasonal spawners that produce large numbers of offspring at one time. Clowns don't reproduce like this, so this process wouldn't work well with clowns.

Ditto. If you see both terms being applied to clowns, it means someone probably doesn't know that there is a difference.
