Tank bulders in Tampa/St.Pete area

Tank has started slowly leaking at a seam and I am just going to move away from acrylic and go back to glass I think. Any quality builders up in those parts? Thank you in advance. Laso I have already contacted all the builders in the 305 just looking for builders in the Largo Tampa St.Pete region.

Easttuth had someone build his big glass tank - they might be in Orlando, but at least they would be in the area.

I don't think faois is the answer on this one honestly. I wanted to have a tank rebuilt and asked john about it and he said he wasn't able to.

Well the OP is in Ft. Myers so I doubt he would drive to a not local fish store to order a custom glass tank.

Driving instate does not bother me, just looking for a great tank/quality. I mean looking at a Lee Mar right now and it might be 800+ to freight it.

My 320 gallon (8ft x 32" x 24") AGE tank was ordered from FAOIS - but built in texas. my freight from texas to my door was $481 for tank and stand. I gave the guy an extra $40 bucks to back it up my driveway.

o wow. not bad at all. Did you go with metal stand? also did you go eurobrace rimless or do they usually go with rims?

steel powder coated stand. It came with all the plywood I would need both under the tank and under the sump.

AGE went with stainless steel rims for the aquarium - also powder coated. It has a PVC bottom, 3 side low-iron glass and the back panel is smoked

He dosnt build them him self but he can have any custom glass tank built. I would check with him. His prices are very fair. I have had a few bid. If I didn't find mine perfect dimensions used he would have had mine built. That being said the 2 tanks I have out of 3 were built by him or his contacts one glass one acrylic.

Very impressive. looking at 60x30x22...tank that big i under stand bracing hoping for glass eurobracing on mine. sucker for rimless tanks

U wanted one rebuilt. I get it. Have u ever taken a tank apart? I'm assume that's what u mean by rebuilt. Let me tell u it's no easy task. Not many will do that. It will take longer just to take that tank apart u wanted rebuilt then it will to build a new tank starting with new materials. Maybe voice to text wasn't working and u r not looking for someone to rebuild a tank. If u r though it's a new ball game all together then just having a tank built. Check with Faois they definitely can get u a price for what u r looking for. My 240 sitting in my garaged was purchased from them custom order. I am the 2nd owner but he had them out source the build. As Ted posted his is also. U need very detailed discription of what u want for him to get a price. John is very picky and only uses people he trust to make a quality product. You will be in good hands with john.

Get a reef savvy,you won't regret it. Top quality builders and have se cool options other manufacturers don't offer.

U want to come take mine apart then I will give u $100 if u get it apart and all cleaned up ready to reassemble. I didn't think it was easy I gave up.
