Sorry to hear Dale. If you need some frags to restart, I've got more than a few that I need to get rid of. Been waiting for things to color back up after the move so I can sell them, but your welcome to a bunch.

Dale, Sorry about that man, I used that stuff before and it worked fine for me, maybe you OD your tank ? You might not want to start over, just do a series of water changes and use carbon to take the rest of the chemical out.

Thanks Tom. I didn't mean start over all the way I just mint my coral collection. Dan the sea horses are doing good. I would love to have some of your zoas. P.S. how long should I leave the carbon in.

Dale,

I used it on my tank and it worked great. I remember someone telling me be careful with overdosing. We'll all help you with Frags.

Hey guys thought I would give a update. All the hard corals died. The softies seem like they are going to make it. I lost my yellow tang and my bleeny. The red anemone split just what I need more anemones to worry about moving when they want, anyone looking for one. Just when I start to get over the crash I had a power strip go down Sunday night and overflow the sump. Yes I have done a power off test and been O.K. but I Didn't realize the return drain back holes got plugged. Anyway I hope the fish gods are done messing with me.

P.S. when you add something like red slime remover make sure you think about the amount of rock displacement you have. I think that is what happened to me. So learn from my mistake I know I did

Dale,

First of all thanks for posting your misfortunes. It give us newer reefers something to think about when considering options in treating our tank. I have heard lots of good things about the red slime stuff but it proves we all have slightly different ecosystems that we take care of, and everything could react differently.

If you still want to get rid of your anenome I would be willing to give it a home as long as everything goes well today when I visit James up at Ceasers. I will let you know.

One thing I have learned in just a short time is that the people in this forum are all willing to help in whatever way they can and you will be up to speed again in no time.

Good luck...Craig.
