I have a really odd shaped tank. it's going to be packed with sps... an di absolutely love giesemann spectra. the problem is since my tank is 65x30x24 it's oddly shaped. the inside dimensions are 63.5x28.5x24 i'm wondering if a 48" giesemann fixture will work or if I'm in a pickle.

please i need some reassurance or discouragement before i give my credit card number.

I run a 36 length of a fixture its an elos and the spread covers from end to end with a little bit of spillage..dont see why it Wouldn't

I would get a 60" if they have it. I have a 72" one on my 72" tank and it works perfectly. A 48" will work too, but I think the sides might not get as much light as the rest of the tank.

I light a 32" cube with a single 24" Spectra and the results are great (check signature). I think you would be ok with the 48". Just don't rock scape all the way out to each end. Get a couple blue reefbrites to go with that fixture, looks awesome together!
